Q. What is the process for Home Care with IRE Services?

A. If you have a spouse or a relative who is incapacitated by reason of physical or mental infirmity then contact us for a free home consultation with our care manager and we will go through all the details that you need to know.

Q. What type of service do the Carers provide?

A. Companionship, personal care, domestic duties, assistance outside the home, assistance with medication.

Q. What are your rates?

A. Hourly rates: Mon-Sat: €17.50, Sun & Bank Hol: €21.50.

Q. Is there tax relief?

A. Yes. A client or family member can claim relief up to 41% on IRE Services invoices. You need to complete the Form IT47, which can be printed from our website "Forms" section.

Q. What is the Payment Term?

A. Payment may be made by direct debit or cheque payment, once timesheets are signed off weekly. Invoices are sent weekly/monthly, depending on which ever suits your requirements.  

Q. How do you recruit and select carers?

A. All our recruitment is done through sister company IRE Recruitment Services, but employed by IRE Services.

Q. What training do you provide carers?

A. All our training is done through our sister company, IRE Recruitment Services.

Q. How does IRE differ from others?

A. We are Cork owned and not a franchise.

Q. What if a Carer is sick?

A. Every client has a back-up carer at the beginning of their care cycle in the event that the main carer is unable to provide care. This service is very well organised and managed to ensure a rapid response to client needs.

Q. Is there a Start-Up fee?

A. No. We provide a free consultation service - at home or in hospital - to discuss the requirements of you and your loved one, during which stage we will provide you with all the necessary information regarding accessing care. Should you wish to go ahead with our services we then complete a very thorough Assessment in the clients home establish a Careplan and introduce a Carer. We invoice at the beginning of every month for the previous months care.
